  • Savita Maharaj: 

    • Savita Maharaj is a second-year English PhD student at Brandeis University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern University in 2022. Her research interests are contemporary and eighteenth-century Caribbean history and literature, archival theory, critical histories of race and gender, and postcolonial theory. Savita is the Early Black Boston Almanac's project manager and curriculum creator.  

  • Sahid Mondal 

    • Sahid Mondal is a 2nd-year English Ph.D. student at Brandeis University. He has an MA in English from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. He has completed his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Calcutta. He studies the politics of religious pluralism and secularity in modern Indian Muslim minorities and their forms of life through South Asian literary and cinematic productions.
